Please and thank you.
Do you mean those little red lines on notebook paper?

I used a couple of tuts for this one
Everything about it is nice.
I especially like the blue in the starfield.

I'd like to know which one of these sigs you guys think is better.
This one:
Or my current one?
-
1) Use the color picker to get the background color on which the text is written.
2) Use the brush to erase the text.
3) Add your text.

What do you think of my new sig?
-
Start your rectangle at 0-0 and drag it across the top until the first number hits the end (we'll use an example size of 350x100) which would be 350. Now drag it down until the second number hits 100.

If you installed it, it will be in the Start menu.
Yeah, that's probably easier than what I said.
-
If it's not on the desktop, go to My Computer>Local Disk (C:)>Program Files>Paint.NET and drag it to your desktop from there.

Here are some opaque french fries.
I just adjusted the opacity and saved it as a .gif. I really don't know what that is, but it worked so I'm happy.

Here's a sig I've been messing around with for the past 20 minutes or so.
Comments? Suggestions?

The corners of the buttons need some work, but other than that it looks pretty good.

I'll give it a shot.

thanks for the size advice,! also the name i belive will look nicely in the top left, and i dont care about the font, something, diffrent, not arial, or comic sans ms.
Alright, give me the background in a good size, and I'll put your name in there nicely for you.

I am sorry if this is rude, because it is my first post and I am alarday asking for help, but i have a background saved for a signiture i'am makeing, and i was wondering if someone can make me some letters for it, i am very bad at it, all i need it to say is "Picc84" w/o quotation marks, hear is a picture of my background...
(it will be bigger, is 600x200 to big?)
600x200 is not a good size for a sig at all. I usually use 350x100 or 380x130.
Also, I need to know where you want your name and if you have any font in mind.

It depends upon what look you want to have. There in no "one true font" for sigs. If I want a clean look with straight edges I usually use BankGothic. For a hectic appearance, something like Turbo Ripped, Chic Decay, Disgusting Behavior, or Salvation would fit the bill. Script fonts are great for peace or elegance, where fonts like Drakon, Savatage, Nosferatu, or Caracura are great for a more evil undertone.
The way I see it, you can never have too many fonts. There isn't one single font that works for every task, so the more you have, the more likely is it you'll have the right font when you need it.
I have none of those fonts. How do you get them?

In your opinions, what is the coolest looking font/best font for sigs.

If you host the image at imageshack.us, get the one that says "direct link to image," copy and paste that code wrapped like so:
