  1. First and foremost, a very large "Thank you!". I am far from an avid Photoshopper. I have no education on the matter, don't make stunning pieces of work, can't "ninjashop" with the best of them. I don't need Photoshop CS 2. But I do like messing around with a few things, fixing some pics, making some avatars, Taking two seperate pictures of my twin and I and putting them together into one. (Thing about being twins, one of us is always holding the camera) MSPAINT, doesn't accompish these tasks very well, if at all. I need Paint.net, and here it is, in all its glory. I'm just a maybe slightly above average user in the editing idea, and this program works wonders for me. Ever since Windows ME came out, I've complained: "With all the improvements in Windows and such, you think they'd fix Paint." Then along came XP, with its new interface, specific built in folders for pictures, video, music. The computer was becoming a true Media Centre. But here we were, new digital cameras, web cams, camera phones, all these pictures, and what does the typical user have to work with? MSPAINT. Ugh. Paint.net is what Windows XP should've come with. I have no doubts in my mind. I thank all the developers, everybody who has made Paint.net a reality, and free to boot. Flat out, this program has helped me put my brother and I back together again. Okay, that was cheesy, but you just can't do it properly in MSPAINT, there's now Layers!
