The other thread was closed and I couldn't reply. I wanted to say congratulations to welshblue, yellowman, and barbieq25! Your entires were inspiring and all had wonderful workmanship while also being beautiful to look at. I really enjoyed looking at all of the entries as if they were in an art gallery and they made me think, admire, and smile.
This new comp has an interesting twist.
This is a very busy week for me. Hopefully I can enter something. I want to thank you for these fun competitions. -
My gosh you are a talented group! Unfortunately this one was quite rushed. I'll try to submit better quality next contest but I wanted to enter something.

Balloons,insects,dragons,life in caves,make your own family crest,
distorted perspective,city scape,forests,things made from dots,renewable energy,
pick a line from a song and paint it, cloud nebulae, and eclipse all sound very intriguing.

I have finished my realistic picture so I'm all set to go for next time. Just couldn't get back in here before company left.Both of the other entries are very well done!

*EDIT I am almost finished with my entry. If the deadline is today by midnight PST then I should make it. If it is another timezone not sure I can. It has been a busy holiday period.

Your artwork is very beautiful!I will continue to enter contest until there aren't anymore. hehe No seriously, I have been trying to get my Google+, Facebook, and various friends on gaming forums to enter. All of them use Photoshop, Gimp, or Paint Shop Pro, but unfortunately not Paint.Net. It will be fun to keep nudging them. I actually have all of those programs and they are collecting dust on my PC. I use Paint.Net because it gets the job done and is easy to use. The Space Halloween theme art contest was the first art only (non-gaming) contest I'd entered. Previously I had only entered custom content clothes/items for Sims games.

I just saw this! Very unique idea. Thank you for the contest and thank you for giving us until December 11th to submit. This will be fun and challenging, the best kind!

I’ve been away from this forum for quite some time. Decided to visit a few days ago and noticed the Halloween contest and out of the blue decided to enter. Unfortunately it seems that I may be too late. I sent the PM with my entry this morning and then saw this thread.
What brought me here was on Google+ a few days ago one of the major developers asked about a paint program that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I posted a link to CNET’s Paint.Net download and another one to the Paint.Net forum. One of the photographers mentioned that Paint.Net didn’t have mask and I told him he should visit the forum and see how much Paint.Net has improved. Anyway, I’ll start posting about this on Google+, Twitter, and Facebook, also several gaming forums I belong to.
Thank you for giving of your time so generously. I was never active but I used to visit quite often. Whichever way it goes, I’ll still do my little postings. That's not much, but it is a start. I'm sure several others are like me and just got very busy with other things and forgot to return. :-)

Can we start a list of plugins that are not working?
If known, can we also list the authors of those plugins?
Such a list would be most helpful. Excellent suggestion, and thank you for thinking of it.
I usually lurk in this forum at least 3 or more times a week. I will definitely be looking out for it.

You guys are seriously talented! I see someone else also used a brush, great minds you know.
Specs: Everything was created 100% Paint.Net. No stocks were used.
Edit to say this month marked my 6th year here at Paint.Net!
