o im sorry, thanks for the sticky, i got it fixed

hi, a long time ago, i installed v2.6 alpha 1. it would not properly uninstall so i just deleted the files in the program files folder. now when i want to install v2.6rc1, it says i need to find file "PaintDotNet_1026781359.msi". it is supposed to be under C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Staging\. also, when i look under the add/remove progs list, i see paint.net 2.6 alpha 1 but when i go to the registry and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall the key is not there. i suspect this is why the new version thinks the old version is still installed. thanks in advance
