In the middle time, try some OS convrters, like ImageMagik: http://www.imagemagick.org/ I prefer it for the vector2raser conversions (or vertor2vector). The only problems is that is thinked for command line and batch operations. 8)

I was not able to download the source code yet, cause I'm backside to a firewall the allows only port:80 internet navigation. I'll find something inside the source code that could help to make some developing tests? Thank you very much. Paint.NET is really great!! 8)
