  1. Final open source version was v3.36, thanks to "backspaceware".
  2. If you would like, you can create an account at crowdin, tell Rick your username and then improve the french translation. It is currently at only 98%.
  3. I'm not sure if paint.net is the best choice for this but one way is to have the map as a bottom layer and a Clouds effect for each room separately. Then you just toggle the rooms visible one by one.
  4. Closest equivalent for Mac is Pinta.
  5. Where are you trying to save the file to? Local disk, usb drive, network location? Does it save quicker in some other location?
  6. Inkscape is a good tool and with the right setting it can produce something like that.
  7. Leftie MMO style mouse? Seems there's only 1, Razer Naga 2014 Left Hand edition. Out of stock everywhere. Then there's ambidextrous Roccat Kova Pure Performance that has 3 buttons on both sides. 66 mice with 2 buttons on the right.
  8. The mouse in the photo is ROCCAT® NYTH , similar ones are Corsair Scimitar or Logitech G600. There are many more mice that have differently shaped extra buttons, be it a grid like that or surrounding the resting thumb like this Steelseries Rival 500.
  9. Random idea, get one of them "MMO" mice that has a bunch of extra buttons? Something like that? You could map any keys or shortcuts to the additional buttons.
  10. You're using an old version then, please update to 4.0.19.
  11. Is "Scrolling past the edge of the image (overscroll)" enabled?
  12. For translations #1294 & #1295, MT translations were approved instead of user ones in finnish, russian and spanish.
  13. From paint.net is now available on the Windows Store!,
  14. Would simple CC-BY suffice? A tiny .txt just like now with copying.txt? Or which license? The license on the website is just because I used Hugo to parse the directory for all .svg so that I wouldn't have to manually do it.
  15. 138 so far but, couple of them will need a bunch of work. Oil Painting, Gauss Blur and Motion Blur need improvement. And Dents, Polar Inversion, Tiled Reflection, Soften Portrait, Julia and Mandelbrot are quite tricky. Dents is difficult to vectorize and others would probably be better just with a straight .png.
  16. I was bored.... SVGs and stuff, comments? Cut and Print are still meh, rest I feel are fine.
  17. Install Error PaintDotNet.Direct2D.NoHardwareDeviceException (0x8899000B) This could be somewhat related?
  18. PicPick can do that, just set paint.net as external program and parameter <%f>.
  19. While transforming the .fi help Keyboard + Mouse from raw html to markdown syntax, I was reminded of one shortcut that was never possible and noticed an annoyance in another. Line options are nicely next to each other and brush size is a key of its own so Ctrl works on it just fine. On a .fi keyboard, Line start and mid are where they are nice but for end you have to go Shift+7. And Brush size is AltGr+8 or AltGr+9 and with AltGr, Ctrl can't be chained at all so no +/-5. Looking through QWERTY - Wikipedia there's few keyboards where Line options don't line up while most keyboards duplicate US layout. "-" for line end would work for scandinavian keyboards and Ö/Ø+Ä/Æ for brush size. But other layouts...? Opinions?
  20. Irfanview has a very nice Save for Web plugin that allows resizing and automatic quality dropping, color reduction and other things to get an image down to a desireable file size.
