    Nevermind, I figured it out.

    I've always had trouble with this on most paint programs. I know you have to use a selection tool(eg. the rectangle tool); and I can get to the point where the cropped section is shown, but I can't seem to get past that point. All I'm stuck with is the 'blinking' lines showing where the cropped section is. Where do I go from there? Thanks, Steve
