  1. Be sure to search for plugins here: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/15260-plugin-index/
  2. Are you using Microsoft Paint? Or, Paint.NET? The screenshots above look like MS Paint to me. MS Paint looks like this: Paint.NET looks like this:
  3. With version Text Fun Factory 2.0, you should be able to retire both Outline Text and Creative Text Pro.
  4. I have updated my plugin pack. Object Shadow Pro is back, baby! (Only, now it's called Object > Drop Shadow+ and it is GPU accelerated. Enjoy!) I also added Text Formations > Text Fun Factory into the pack. Check this one out. You're gonna love it!
  5. If the picture is small, you can host right here on the forum. Just drag-and-drop the image file into the box below where you're typing your response message to this thread.
  6. Does your system also crash if you go into Notepad and use Save As? How about Microsoft Paint?
  7. A gift from me to you: Version 2.0 of the Text Fun Factory has been published! Until I put this in my plugin pack, you can download above! This is now available in my plugin pack. Go get it here: https://forums.getpaint.net/BoltBaitPluginPack

  9. Already done. What type of plugin are you writing, an Effect or a Filetype? Where are you trying to load the PNG from, an embedded resource or a file on disk? If an effect, are you writing a Classic effect or a GPU accelerated effect?
  10. Good to know. Thanks. I'm not an expert in filetype plugins and didn't even work in that area on the last release. One thing that we need to work on... If you're wanting to paste a script into CodeLab in order to work on it, be sure to File > New and choose that type of script. This sets up the specific CodeLab tab in order to compile that type of script... THEN paste it in. In other words, you shouldn't paste a classic script into a tab setup for a GPU effect. That won't work.
  11. Make sure you're using the latest version of CodeLab (v6.11). I thought I fixed all that Random Number stuff in the latest build.
  12. CodeLab uses your .cs filename to create the namespace. Make sure you're not using any special characters in the filename.
  13. The next thing you need to try is to change your GPU option to CPU 🐌, like this: I suspect that if you switch to CPU you won't see the problem any more. Try this and let us know.
  14. When this happens, and you save the file... is the glitch in the file? Or, is this only a glitch on the screen in Paint.NET?
  15. If you have my plugin pack installed, try: Effects > Stylize > Floyd-Steinberg Dithering: Select the "Use Current Palette" option then select the number of colors to use from the current palette. You'll need to save the colors you want to use at the beginning of your palette before running the effect:
  16. Can you translate that error message into English for us?
  17. You need to update to the latest version of Paint.NET before we can give you any help. As of this writing, that version is 5.0.12
  18. When you draw a gradient, the transition starts at your drawing point, and ends at your ending point. The areas outside of your drawing maintain the beginning and ending color. So just start in the middle draw as much as you want for a transition then stop.
  19. Whenever you download and install Paint.NET, it's a good time to go to the forum and download fresh copies of the plugins. Many plugins get updated and you'd never know unless you frequent the forums.
  20. You can drag the dockable windows outside of Paint.NET's main window. Or, you can get used to the "4 finger salute" as we call it, by pressing F5, F6, F7, and F8 all at the same time.
