Hi, Sometimes I need to deal with old newspaper scans from online sources. Usually they are heavy rasterized. What I personally do, is to Gauss Blur a picture with radius about 2, then resize to smaller, and then Sharpen a bit. I found a thread in this forum from year 2006, no simpler methods (plugins?) have appeared over the years? ?

Hi, I used paint.net before, now installed version 5.0.13 (Windows x64), and when using Layers - Rotate/Zoom, I see no "Preserve background" checkbox anymore at the bottom of menu.
