Weeeeird. Its working now for me too. I tried like 20 times yesterday and got the bug every time. I do a lot of graphic design at my job and for raster work I always lean toward pdn over photoshop so I ran into that issue a lot yesterday but yeah...its uh...its working here too now. Must have been a random windows thing. Im not sure how to mark this "not a problem" so Ill just mark your comment as solution.

Description: When you right click on an image and click "open with" and then go to "Paint.net" windows is opening the file association menu that lets you choose a program and decide if it should always use that program to open that file type. In the past, it seemed to always open the image in paint.net. Im thinking maybe just need to reinstall... Date bug started: I think this has been happening since pdn v:5.0.2 update but Im not entirely sure. Not a super big deal, I mean like...I can just open paint.net and drag the image in. Just mentioning this because it seems to be a bug that may occur after updating from an older version to the current version on windows 11
