Yes, I've tried saving to multiple different formats. Still reverts to original.

In an attempt to remove a white background, I selected to change white to transparent. I then used the magic wand and the effect on the image was amazing...however, the image it produced cannot be saved. It reverts to the original image. Is it possible to save the image created from using the magic wand as it outlines the image and text?
