  1. It's not an ideal solution since like your example shows, tolerance based settings cant easily get to all the grey parts between the white space and the black line. Any tolerance setting set high enough to get all the in-between is also high enough to bleed through the thinner parts of the line and just get everywhere. That's why I'm looking for a sort of directional based system instead. To elaborate a bit further, the final product would look something like this. So it needs to be a way to select the whole bottom half of the image including the bottom half of the aliased line for it to get everything:
  2. Oh sure. So take the line below as an example. Say I want to color in the image below this line, I'd like an easy way to separate out the region below the line even though the line involved is aliased and not consistently dark. If I were able to select though say "line by line, affect pixels below the darkest pixel in this area" that should do the job.
  3. Hello, I'm looking for at plugin or tool to more easily select inside the outline of a drawing. If selection isn't possible then coloring should be good enough to get the job done in parts. The logic should pretty much just be to look at a selection and go line by line "Find the darkest pixel, optionally select/color that pixel, then select/color all pixels up/down/left/right to that pixel based on choice."
