I joined an October drawing challenge back in October, but I only did sketches everyday since a full illustration would take too long. Now, I am finishing those sketches one by one. I almost forgot. New birthday, new profile pic (new self-portrait):

I just made my first 2d animation! I had the Animation Helper plugin by pixelbytes studio for a very long time, but it had a size limit of 1000 by 1000 pixels and most of my drawings exceed that size. Then I downloaded the agif/gif filetype by midora, which was very useful for creating and testing out gif animations, but it had a color limit of 256 colors, which causes dithering. Both are very good for casual use, but somewhat limited for making high quality animation. I wanted my animation to have perfect resolution and quality, So I just uploaded my frames to a video editor and that worked perfectly. Here it is: And here's the original illustration:

OMG, OMG, another digital artist who uses paint.net!!! I've been looking for someone like that for a very long time! I would love to hear about your drawing process. Do you draw with a tablet? I feel like the reason I'm still using paint.net is because I don't have a drawing tablet that will allow me to transition to more drawing-friendly programs. Do you know any other digital illustrator who uses paint.net or are we the only two (with social media) in the whole world?

New illustration (7/27/23)! I decided to restrict myself to a color palette as much as possible and it does wonder for cohesiveness!
