The "Simulate Color Depth" plugin would always crash no matter what dither settings that I want.

When I tried to use that plugin, it crashed (but got the option to close just the plugin without closing Paint.NET)

When I choose a variable font in Paint.NET, it would have the first style of the font, for example, the first style for "SF Pro Display" is Ultralight, so it would have the Ultralight style, and when I bold the text, it would choose the Bold style.

Now I don't have to use Photoshop.

For a way better realistic effect (90s), you use Motion Blur and Emboss. For a 2000's VHS effect, you use centred Motion blur and then do non-centered motion blur.
