I too wish for this excellent software to be available on Microsoft's official Windows Package Manager "winget".
The winget community is capable and willing to add applications themselves, but it is currently not possible with paint.net because paint.net installers are released within .zip files.
Please consider releasing paint.net installers as .EXE or .MSI so that the winget community can add it to winget.
