  1. Hello, I looked all through the plugins and discussions trying to find a solution to my needs, and so far I've came up empty. What I'm trying to do is fade out the top of an image into complete transparency, so the top of the image completely disappears. I will upload an image (that I didn't make) showing what I want my finished image to look like. I would like to make an image that looks like the one I uploaded, fading out into complete transparency at the top, while leaving the lower part of the image unchanged to slightly transparent, that I could then paste onto another image that's white, like a sheet of writing paper.
  2. Hi there everyone, I'm trying to find out if there is a plugin available for Paint.net that makes seamless patterns? And if not, if there is anyone out there that would make one? There are numerous types of seamless patterns, and a good plugin for making seamless patterns would be able to make most, if not all types of seamless patterns. Here is a list of the types of pattern repeats. Full Drop/Block Pattern Repeat, Half Drop Pattern Repeat, Brick Pattern Repeat, Diamond Pattern Repeat, Ogee Pattern Repeat, Tossed/Random Pattern Repeat, Stripe Pattern Repeat, Scale Pattern Repeat, Mirror Pattern Repeat (Full drop/Block), Mirror Pattern Repeat (Half Drop), Turn-Over/4 way Mirror Pattern Repeat, Border Repeat. I don't know anything about making plugins, but if one was made for making seamless patterns, it would be a very useful plugin for many people. Thanks for reading my post. Ed
  3. Hello, I was wondering, when enlarging a photo or image in paint.net, which is the better choice for interpolation, bilinear, or bicubic? I'm completely clueless about such things. Thanks in advance for any answers. Ed
  4. Hello, I have a question. I was wondering if there is a way to perfectly center an image onto another image that is larger when pasting it in? I'm making mock-ups and I want to paste an image of wall art, onto a mock wall and it would make the process a lot faster if I didn't have to center it manually, and so that all the mock-ups look exactly the same. Thanks in advance. Ed
