  1. There is an image with many straight verticle and horizontal lines that I want to trace rather than just duplicate. How can I do this in paint? I thought I would just add a layer and then trace the document that way, but I don't get the layer thing. I thought a layer was like it was like putting a piece of transparent paper over a picture. That way I can trace the picture and then take the layer off... but when I click "add a layer" I don't see anything different happening. And I also don't seem to be able to separate the layer as a separate document. So confused.
  2. "Ratio Match" is my own term for it, because I don't know how else to explain it. Basically I have a photo and the photo has two circles- One circle is inside of the other. I want to create two circles- one inside of the other BUT they have to print out with the same ratio distance as in the photo I have. In other words, if I were to take my 2 circles and directly place them on top of the photo, they would match. I guess one way to do this would be to layer a clear sheet over my photo and then trace on that clear sheet the two circles. Can paint do this? Whenever I try to layer something I can't see the image underneath so I can't trace it.
