Thank you Ego Eram Reputo, I can confirm that uninstalling Microsoft update KB50000802 fixes the printing problem. I no longer have a wide blank band down the center of my printed images.

Exactly the same here. It seems only to occur on larger images. An image of 1155x770px prints OK but an image of 5000x3333px prints with a wide blank band down the middle.
