Amazing detail @Red ochre! Those dragon/lizard/sea monster creatures are fantastic. Also like your more "down to earth" image of the fruit. They have a waxy glassy look.

Sorry everyone been dealing with stuff and work so have not checked here. Congratulations to all the great entries and comments. Special thanks @MJW for your comment as you deserve a double congrats too and a yay for being the winnere. I agree surprisingly simple object but difficult to come up with something that was different but still a paper clip. I will not take a paper clip for granted 🤣.

Fantastic new additions @Vagabondi! Yes Psychedelic Skies is quite stunning since it looks like you can almost feel the texture. And Sunrise on Mercury for some reason makes me think of a macabre chess game. We really all do see unique things and that is what makes art so great.

I know this example lost the original lightness of the color but I hope some of this may help you play with the image to get your result:
- To Add shine , you can add a layer above and with white randomly scribble in that area. Then Apply Gaussian Blur to it to blur it to your liking.
- Do the same with black to add the darker area wherever you want it.
- You can play with the following plugins to get your desired look for metal: Color/Metalize, Text Formations/Creative Text Pro (be sure to click on the top box "Apply to Object Instead of text"), Adjustments/Gradient Mapping (for this plugin you may have to download and add some Presets to get the color you want - just search for Gradient Mapping in the forum and you will see several posts relating to Presets you can add)
- If you use the Creative Text Pro plugin, I normally duplicate the layer and apply the effect to that and then play with the blend modes of the layer before I merge it to the lower layer.
- Also play around with Brightness/Contrast in the Adjustments menu to make it lighter or to have the brushed lines stand out more.
- And lastly, I did turn your image so the metal brushed lines were horizontal and not vertical.Have fun!

@Manc that image is a great image of an equally great TV show

@Vagabondi, I am drawn to Fire and Ice because I do love cats of all sizes but especially because of the techniques used to show those images. And yes Late For Dinner is funny; agree with @Red ochre.

Love this plugin @Reptillian. Thanks for sharing it. I created an image with just the plugin and then on the second one applied the Galaxy Transformation plugin for a different look. Enjoying that plugin in too

Very cool topic. Ran out of time so only had time for 1 entry but thanks @Pixey for the nice comment. As always everyone's take on the challenges are fun to admire 😍.

Wow @lynxster4 that is so beautiful. Perfect theme as spring is just around the corner and many will be working on their gardens. This would look amazing as a stepping stone in a garden.
