I'll do this, but perhaps it's worth mentioning that my computer shutdown yesterday while it was on due to a power outage. But when I turned my computer on after the outage, paint net worked fine. I'll let you know if installing updates and restarting works.

Yeah I gave my computer a restart, still the same issue.

I've been using paint.net perfectly fine for a month. It was even working last night. When I tried to open it today, nothing happens. I can see in task manager that it opens for a split second before immediately disappearing. I tried the PdnRepair.exe tool and it doesn't seem to do anything, the CMD prompt comes up but instantly disappears without any text coming up. Where can I find some information to help troubleshoot, or does anyone have any idea what's going on?
