    Further to the below, and a few other threads from years ago... I'd really like to be able to select multiple layers for editing. Perhaps double clicking on layers in the layers window to allow selecting of more than one layer. [Right click (currently unused) could be for editing layer properties]. Also CTRL / SHIFT to highlight layers in blue to represent the one/s you're working on and would like to edit. This would be so useful for moving, re-sizing, and applying filters and effects to multiple layers at once. Thanks!

    Another vote to be able to CTRL or SHIFT and select multiple layers. To be able to move them all around together instead of having to merge down would be great. Thanks.
