  1. Whoops. There's always an internal debate between reusing similar topics so as to not pollute the forum, but the rules are clear. Thanks for the clarification, I definitely should have read the rules 😅 Not knowing the code, this seems like a pretty simple modification. Having been a UI developer for a long time, .net even, I know that what looks simple to users most of the time isn't so from the development side. With that in mind, I really wish this would be looked at and that it would be deemed simple to solve. It would make the lives of us few a lot better. This way I just can't use Paint.net for this task, though it would be a much better (read: lighter) fit than, say, Gimp. Thanks
  2. Hello there! There is a similar request in another topic in this forum, which is now closed, and I couldn't find any topics on the subject showing if there is a solution. Now for my problem: Imagine I have the following image: Now imagine I have hundreds more like it (meaning white foreground in transparent background) and I'm adjusting every one of them. Which I am. It's not very readable. Adding a layer to every file I open, then editing, then removing the layer, then saving the file is definitely not a good workflow. Is there a solution or workaround for this, one that doesn't involve adding and removing a layer for every time a file is opened? If not, would you consider adding an option to select the checkered board colors? I know this is a very specific case that happens only with very few color arrangements. Thanks. PS: I'm not trying to spam, but since the other topic was closed without any explanation, I'm trying again with a fresh one. Thanks again.
