  1. Hi, I'm happy to say I fix it! I found my old install file (4.1.4 version) I installed with any error. THen, I opend paint.net update menu and paint.net automatically updated to latest version with any errors. I think it was because windows was thinking old version 4.1.4 still there, but wasn't and it was generating the error. Can't uninstall old version, because was not really installed. To be honest I don't know why windows tool https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed was not detecting any error. It was really frustating. Hope this post help. Thank you
  2. Hi, I can't install it the using exe file also. The first post are screenshoots from a 'normal' instalation using donloaded file from here: https://www.getpaint.net/download.html. It could be an error form installing manually paint.net and also automatically via System Center Configuration Manager but I have and installation error in both methods. I'm almost sure the error is that, but I don't know how to solve it, how to delete an trace of paint.net on my computer, because it seems that windows is saying and old version is installed, but to be honest I don't know if it's the real error or not. I can't attach all log file because it's bigger than 0.25MB in order to check log file by yours. thank you again for your help
  3. As I said, I used that tool before with any result. Tool didn't found Paint.net. Nnot appears on the programs list in this tool, and any error found on PC
  4. I have it, right. But I also have Admin right and I can do some changes on my corporate laptop. In older versions I isntalled it without any problems, but now, also System Center Configuration Manager have problems. I uninstalled verwsion manually installed by me, but problem still there. I think I have to delete any trace of Paint.NET and start again the installation, but I don't know how to do it, because I tried (I think) all methods posted here. Thank you
  5. I tried all I found in that forum, but I can't install it... Microsoft fix tool, but pint.net doesn't appear on the list and the tool not found any error. I also tried to .\paint.net.4.2.10.install.exe /CreateMsi /auto and used PaintDotNet_x64.msi generated, but is saying is an invalid file (insted of first not found file error) I'ts invalid, but don't know why, and dont know why first not found error too. MSI (c) (EC:40) [10:52:08:530]: SOURCEMGMT: Trying source C:\Users\ESTA\Desktop\PaintDotNetMsi\PaintDotNet_x64.msi. MSI (c) (EC:40) [10:52:08:532]: SOURCEMGMT: Source is invalid due to invalid package code (product code doesn't match). Seems i'ts and older version installed, but Microsoft https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed tool didn't found anything: Error 1714. The older version of paint.net cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group. System Error 1612. In some posts I read something about delete the registry info. But also doesn't work for me. Can't attach log file, because is larger than my max permitted. This is the error messages on screen:
