Chinese Mapping

I was just typing with Paint.net with the text tool, then suddenly I press enter and it makes a double space. It is very infuriating since I make many, many frames that include text, and I hate it when I have to backspace after I press enter. I tried looking for a solution, but all I found was the opposite. People trying to make double-space, however, those were very outdated. Does anyone have a solution for this?
