  1. I was using Paint.net with Win 7 and had no issues. Like you I bought a new machine and now can't get a full page print on anything but "letter" size paper. Sounds similar to what you're experiencing. I haven't found a workaround yet either.
  2. Thanks for the tip. Tried the plugin and could fill the preview screen but there was an area of discoloration in the preview that printed white like before. There must be something else somewhere that I'm missing. I'm using an HP Envy 7800 printer with Win 10. I used the same printer last year with Win 7 and had no issues so right now I'm at a loss.
  3. I looked through the topics and can't find anything that exactly relates to what I'm wanting to do. When I use "letter" size the images will print with a 1/8" border around the entire page, which is what I'm looking for. If I change the paper size to 8x10 or 5x7 I get a 1/8" border on 3 sides but the 4th side is about 1/2" to 5/8". Since I don't want to print everything "letter" size, how do I get that consistent border on all sides? I was running an older laptop with Win 7 last year and didn't have this "problem".
  4. Thanks to everyone for their input. My problem appears to be solved.
  5. The original download I made was the RAWFileLAB 1.050. That's the one that let me see the NEF files list but not let me open them. I just downloaded the RAW File Type (2018-06-14) and it seems to work. Thanks for your help. It's greatly appreciated.
  6. This has probably been answered somewhere in here, but I haven't the time to explore all the threads. Sorry, I'm new to paint.net and digital photography. I have several pictures in RAW or NEF format that I would like to make some adjustments to but get the following error message when I try to open them: Application version: paint.net 4.2.8 System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The system cannot find the file specified at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) at RAWFile.RAWFiletype.ExecuteCommand(String startDir, String batFile, String args) at RAWFile.RAWFiletype.LoadRAW(String file) at RAWFile.RAWFiletype.LoadImageByCopy(Stream input) at RAWFile.RAWFiletype.LoadImage(Stream input) at RAWFile.RAWFiletype.OnLoad(Stream input) at PaintDotNet.FileType.Load(Stream input) in D:\src\pdn\src\Data\FileType.cs:line 512 at PaintDotNet.Functional.Func.Eval[T1,TRet](Func`2 f, T1 arg1) in D:\src\pdn\src\Base\Functional\Func.cs:line 158 I've installed the plug-in that at least allows me see the files listed, but that's as far as I can get. What suggestions do you have?
