ABSTRACT I used to think of abstract art as somewhat "boring" but this forum has totally changed my mind. There are so many impressive images - in personal galleries and in the 'Image Umbrella: Abstract' thread of Pictorium. Here's a set of my attempts to do something in this genre (to tell a 'story', like @Pixey says ). Enjoy! Drive Red Light Holidays Evil Flower In The Cave Lovey Head Joker Threat Fame Where The Streets Have No Name Thanks for your visit - and for the inspiration! PS. My money is with 'Honey". Some of the textures you make are beyond understanding, like 'Bush Baby' - I wouldn't even know where to start. -

lynxster creations ~ St. Paddy's Day! ~ 3/14/24 π

They are just great. I like the first one very much as another example of your decorative style - the texture is so realistic one can easily "touch and feel" it. The second one is softer and even more magical - almost alive. The background is fine, too. @lynxster4 is in details. And, knowing a few things about ShapeMaker now, let me add - you are the champion. -
Played with this tutorial a lot but never was satisfied with the results. Now, at last. Thank you so much @Red ochre - and everyone who posted here - for the inspiration!
