Again, I'm new here, sorry if this is redundant but I can't find the answer anywhere on youtube or the forums. Is there a way to create a shortcut where you "click a button" and a white Text Box Appears that has various "editable" preselected verbiage? I create maps for work and don't want to bother starting from scratch to create a legend each time for the map. Any assistance is much appreciated.

I am brand new to this... please excuse my ignorance. I'm looking to upload a jpeg map into Paint.net, place numerous rectangles, squares and text on it. This part is simple enough, but in the future, say a day, a week, a month later, I'd like to have the ability to reopen the image and edit the rectangles, squares and labels without having to recreate the entire map. Can anyone point me in the right direction as the proper way to save the file to do so, or any other suggestions as to how I could make this happen? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
