  1. I'm a big fan of Paint.net, BTW! Been using it for years, and I have the Microsoft Store version because it's too good to be free!
  2. Thank you. It's a .dds file, but your site doesn't accept .dds files. However, I thought Paint.net 5.0 does support them.
  3. Hi. I'm getting an error when trying to open a .dds file. It is: "There was an error opening the .dds file." The exception data states, "The DDS file is invalid." I'm wondering if the file type isn't supported, yet.
  4. Is there a 64-bit only installer I may download and run? Or is there a fix for this? OS is Windows 7, 64-bit with SP1. I have .NET 4.7.2 installed and the latest Windows updates. Paint.NET did an update, removed the old version, but failed to install the new. When I download and run the latest installer from the getpaint.net website, it displays this error: "There was an error while installing paint.net. (1603). Fatal error during installation." Windows event viewer displays this message: "Event 10005, MsiInstaller. Product: paint.net -- 32-bit MSI may not be installed on 64-bit OS." Not sure why the paint.net installer is trying to install a 32-bit application on my 64-bit OS. Any suggestion will be much appreciated!
