A random, albeit useful bug. Defeat accepted.

Greetings. An image with transparent background, two copies pasted from paint.net to MS Word a minute apart, one copy has proper transparency (page background visible), one is filled with white. I believe there's a trick to control transparency, but what is it exactly? I didn't use any tools beside the conventional Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V, and definitely didn't fiddle with image format in MS Word after pasting it.

Works that way, but the plugin uses image sides and corners, and as you can see on the pic, it's not my case. I was trying to find a workaround for dragging pasted image to center area, but it only gets more complicated with plugins, so I guess I'll just keep dragging.

My case: copy item icon from the sheet, select only meaningful pixels of it, paste the pixels onto map image and move to indicate the correct position of said item. Every time I paste another icon I have to drag the pixels from top left corner by hand to currently centered area. I'm trying to find a way to either paste directly into current center (but not fix in place, as fine adjustment is needed) or to alter paste position with some plugin. I'm trying to find a way to move freshly pasted group of pixels to current center of the canvas (screen center, that is), without having to drag them from the corner after each new paste operation. Will the plugin be of any help in that case?

Greetings! Pasted pixels into new layer on a larger image, chose the plugin command, clicked every button in the menu and the selected pixels didn't move. Am I misunderstanding the plugin's effect?

The inconvenience for me lies in the need to drag each pasted image from corner to center. And, no, coordinate-based offset is not what I was looking for, as I do not know end coordinates beforehand.

When I paste in a regular way, yes, but with the plugin the pasted image is immediately fixed in place (unless I'm missing some controls).

Is there a way to move the image pasted this way by hand? Maybe there's a checkbox "do not fix in place" that I don't see?

Greetings! The need to drag the pasted image into the center of the screen before any other operations bugs me a bit. Is there a way (a plugin?) to make Paint.NET paste images into the center of the screen by default?

Greetings! Working with textures from the 1st Stalker game. Took the original pic, resized the canvas – transparent background areas old and new looked identical in editor, but upon saving the file I've found that new transparent area shows as white while the old one shows as black (opened with XnView, if it's relevant). If pasted from above, new area would also look black, but what makes it different if it's transparent and how do I keep visible color consistent? BTW, I've also seen transparent area showing as yellow or pink in modded pics, so maybe it's editor-dependent?
