  1. Guess I'll stick to 4.0.19 than... A'int worth enabling windows updates for what 4.0.21 has to offer.
  2. Yes, that's true, i've turned off windows updates right after i last installed it, a year ago. I don't want to have to wait for "updates" to install each time I turn off my PC, just to destroy my PC and make it lag for no reason (happened too many times, the more "updates" it installed the worse my PC behaved)
  3. Can't install .NET Frameworks 4.7.2, same problem something is extracted in D:/1dadafd113fdsfsg then the installer shows this error: The .NET Framework 4.7.2 is not supported on this operating system. I'm using Windows 10 and tried with paint.net installers from official website and other software sharing websites.
  4. Can't update to 4.0.21 or 4.0.20, the installer just doesn't work. Tried using the in-app updater and manual update. Even uninstalled 4.0.19 and tried a fresh install. The files are copied on C:/Users /.../Temp than it extracts something in D:/1aa3kdmngi223 (random numbers / letters) and the installer stops, or better said doesn't really start.
  5. @Pixey Well add that 1 action to the fact that you need to select jpeg each time when saving a image, plus confirming that you want to flatten the image. Now repeat this on 10-15 images and you will see it becomes quite annoying...
  6. Well i should't be force to use another program to do a task like this. What i ask shouldn't be hard to implement, maybe make something similar to Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S on PS At least do something with the "Flatten Window" popup and behavior. I shouldn't loose my layers after is save to jpeg/png. Most of the people who uses paint.net use it for quick image manipulation, so saving the result shouldn't be so tedious
  7. Saving images in paint.net could be a bit less annoying. I do a lot of quick and repetitive image editing and saving them as jpeg is really annoying. I have to go to multiple steps each time: File > Save As Select Jpeg from menu - There should be at least keyboard shortcuts for saving straight to jpeg and png, because this are the formats most people use. Choose Quality - this should have like a checkbox to "Remember Settings and Never Show" Flatten Window - Ye i know the image will be flatten, done this like a million times, stop bugging me with this (Never Show this again checkbox) Also about "Flatten Window" why not automatically "Undo" after save to get back the layers and stuff?
