what is "hardness"? it is 75% by default. does changing the setting have any effect on scanning and printing the scan? Why is the color not quite correct when printing from the scan versus printing from a website?

how do I print a mirror image? meaning a page that reads right to left horizontaly but is correct vertically? the same effect if you used carbon paper on the back side of the image and drew he image. you would end up with a reverse image on the back, letters would appear backwards. I can scan an image, flip it in the preview screen to display a mirror but it prints normally. the mirror choice in my printers preferences do not always work.
