  1. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This fixed my problem, I just added two exceptions for both PaintDotNet.exe and the "Effects" folder Thank you again!
  2. I'm kind of at my wits end. I've tried closing or uninstalling every possible thing that could be causing Paint.net to freeze, PLUS restarting my computer after every test to see if it'd fixed the problem, but it hasn't. I don't use any "overlays" (whatever those are), and I don't have any gaming software except my NVIDIA bloody potato, and even then I've disabled most of that It's sad, since I'm a musician and I use Paint.net to make all of my Album Artwork and test out different fonts I've downloaded. I'm sorry, but again, I don't know what to do. Did any of you see ANYTHING suspicious in my debug whatever, sicne that might be my only saving grace

  5. I ran it in safe mode, and it launched without freezing.
  6. Hi everyone. I have tried allowing Paint.net through my firewall in Windows Defender, but it hasn't fixed the problem. I think it is something to do with my system. My diagnostics are attatched below, if they are of any use. stuff.txt
  7. Hi all. I allowed PaintDotNet.exe trough my Windows Defender firewall, so I'll wait and see if that works. I will report back soon

  10. Hi there Every time I launch Paint.net it freezes (and then unfreezes) whenever I launch it. I'm using the latest version 4.0.21, and I am running Windows 10. I haven't changed any of the compatability settings, so I'm not sure what's wrong Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Will My Profile +
