I'm experiencing a bug when coping a layer from one image into another: I open a primary paint file and create a second, empty layer. I open a secondary file, an image with larger dimensions than the primary. I copy a layer from the secondary file. I paste this layer into the empty layer of the primary file. When the interface asks whether I want to expand the canvas, I select "keep canvas size." When I attempt to manually resize the newly copied layer, I find that it has already been cut according to the dimensions of the original image file, as if I had already "Finished Selection."
