  1. The paint.net url used to be taken by another site, but I see it's now parked on GoDaddy. Just though I'd give you a heads up in case you wanted to look into it.
  2. LOL, I have a fast PC with SSD. But I'll remove some plugins and see if that changes things. I think I got all those plugins from a pack.
  3. I've attached an image listing the effects folder. Seems reasonable that it could be that, although it took 21 seconds when I opened it now, which seems a little long. Opening Paint.net after that is instant - I guess Windows is caching the program? (annoying because it means I can't try isolate the plugin that is causing the lag)
  4. I guess it's because the update window would popup after the delay was finished, although that might be a consequence of the delay rather than a cause of it. I just opened the program to test, on a fast Win10 machine with SSD, and after all the features became visible, there was a 15 second delay before I hovering over an icon would feedback. I'm not sure our internet is actually that slow either.
  5. I love using Paint.Net for doing quick jobs, but when I open it, it goes to the internet to check for updates before I can do anything. When internet is slow, this is painfully frustrating. Please can we have an option to determine how we want to get our updates? I'd like to specify that I'll only get updates when I want them. I don't think Paint.Net is a security risk that requires high priority updates, right?
