Ditto. I use only Windows computers and tablets and now have upgraded my phones to new Galaxies with native support for HEIC/HEIF files. I had expected that by installing the Microsoft HEIF/HEIC codec from the Windows Store would allow for my (Windows Store ver) Paint.net would also allow me to open, edit and save HEIC files, but that wasn't the case. Now I don't see any HEIC codec plug-in for Paint.net either -- I find this really odd. Is there any effort to add new codecs such as HEIC to Paint.net either natively (preferred) or via a plug-in (pack) -- would it be possible for Paint.net to leverage the MS HEIF/HEIC codec support?
