That worked really well. I tried a few different blurring effects and gaussian +5 seemed to be the best to give it just that hint of being more to the background. Thanks for the advice!

I'm pretty new to Paint.net so forgive my inexperience. I'm trying to place some outlined letters on a page - simple white interior, black outline letters. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it. Tutorials online all seem to point to old versions of Paint.net where the process was different. So how do I do it?
