Hello All,
A few years ago I had a logo built for my website using my registered logo from original vector drawings from the early 80's. The person built me a good rendition using the vector art I had and was able to make it "3D". We are no longer in contact and he never gave me the source file that I we agreed upon when I paid him. Now I am looking to try and rebuild it from my digitized vector files.
I've followed quite a few paint.net text 3D logo tutorials and I got pretty far and able to rotate it like what I have on my site. The problem is when I started building the layers, the internal geometries get lost and smear out the interior lines to the point it's not my logo but just a big red smear.
I duplicate the layer, arrow it up, and duplicate, up......I'm guessing for at least 15-20 times to create the "depth", but as you can see from attached images, I am clearly not doing something correctly or approaching this the wrong way.
I was wondering if someone can guide me to what the proper steps would be to allow me to create a close rendition of the completed version attached here.
Thank you.
Chris
