  1. It works pretty much the same way. Make a black/white mask and change blending mode to "Screen". Mask used:
  2. Funny thing. Shortly after I posted that post, I shut off my browser to work on something. When I returned to this site, I was greeted with an error saying I was banned and no longer had access to this site. This was short lived however. My first thought was that this site was hacked. My second thought was that I really did get banned. I guess either one was a real possibility.....
  3. What kind of game are you playing? That's not a tiff file. I wouldn't recommend anyone in Windows attempt to open that file in PDN.....
  4. I wasn't laughing at anyones safety concerns. Internet safety is always a good idea. I do feel very confident about my vulnerabilities or lack there of. I also use encryption for quite a few things.
  5. I will have to test out the new version the next time I fire up my VM.
  6. Ha,ha. That's very funny. I only run Linux now. None of my programs have administrative privilege. None of my programs have internet access, unless I grant that. Good luck owning me............... I also run all "Windows Programs" in a SandBox.
  7. I happened upon a script that can sync object zoom to music beats. I thought a tittle generated with this plugin would do nicely. So here I'll share the results of my testing. tittle_zoom.mp4 (4.18 MB). Enjoy......
  8. Sorry, i couldn't resist. Had to turn on the headlights.....
  9. You can Right-Click on the corner nubs using the (Move tool) and rotate it at will. You can also use the Level Horizon plugin designed just for this purpose.
  10. Yes, you're right. Saving a large test image to .pdn utilized all 8 threads. Saving to jpg used only one thread. The save preview used 4 threads however.
  11. I believe it's just a RAM issue not CPU. Image editing uses very little cpu (with exception of certain plugins) and is more RAM intensive, especially with large images.
  12. Great shapes Lynx!! However the "SuperMan" creast shape looks familiar...... I was hoping more people would contribute their custom shapes, oh well... Here is a cool and accurate Super Man Crest Logo if anyone wants it. Super Man
  13. That's very impressive Red! I'm surprised all that can be done in PDN.
  14. You're better off using a 3-D program like blender for this. I used blender a few years back to make this 3-D baseball. The original is much larger and smoother. I reduced size and framerate to make the file smaller.
  15. I tried to map Red's 2nd gif into a sphere, but too tough to make it seamless..
  16. Congrats BBQ. Excellent image and really good texture effect. Lots of great entries by all.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. I also have to wonder why anyone would want to take a picture of a credit card?????
  18. Now that I didn't submit an entry, I can submit my votes. Good luck to all entrants!!!
  19. Cool effect, well done! It's even more interesting when you play with blending modes. Here is "Color Burn" blending mode over "Scratch Art Effect"... I'm currently out of reps, I'll be sure to give you one tomorrow.
  20. Nice plugin Red! I shot this one at an AirShow. I applied "Ink Sketch" prior to Poster.
