  1. Never knew about this plugin before now....
  2. Or one could use Red Ochre's AardVark filter to do the same, or similar thing....
  3. Nice one Max. Did you make that? Here's another one I made. I call it WormHole..
  4. Seerose, what you just did, may look simple, but it is technically very difficult. Nicely done....
  5. Great work Seerose.... The only way I've found to export image or animation sequence is to screen capture. You can use "PrintScreen" if you'd like and paste it in PDN to crop or create an animated gif by taking a series of screen caps while rotating the sculpture on it's axis every 5 or 10 degrees or so.
  6. I call this one "Warp Drive". I made it with the cool, free s/w I linked to in my last post.
  7. I made this with this free software: https://people.eecs.berkeley.edu/~sequin/SCULPTS/scherk.html
  8. Does anyone have a backed up latest version of this plugin? If so, can you post it? Thanks,
  9. You can duplicate the layer and apply Gaussian blur to top layer, then change blending mode to overlay: Alternatively you can resize up 200%, followed by resize down 50%:
  10. No snail on a salad. How about Snail on a Motorcycle? <snip>
  11. Lynx, I believe I shot one of those trees, but didn't know what it was.. Anyway, digging back through some old photos, I found one of my old faithful friend that I had to use with this filter.....
  12. Lynx, what is a 'smoke' tree? Is it just a tree that he smoked under? Yeah, this two option rep count is very confusing. I'm not sure which one to click on and usually click both.
  13. Simply awesome Red! The best InkSketch yet..... Thanks!!!
  14. You can make track mattes for video in Paint.net, but animating them would be much easier to do in a Video Editor/Compositor.
  15. You're probably right Red. I'm a big fan of your "Object Edge" filter, so I will go to it whenever I want to darken (or brighten) the edges of an object for whatever reason. Plus it needs to be compatible with PDN v3.5.11 since I'm running Linux and use PDN under wine. Many new filters just won't work, so I don't bother testing them....
  16. Applying Red's "ObjectEdge" filter to text, then running Tone-Gradient-Angle results in a nice Chiseled Text effect...
  17. Red, I just used standard text with Gaussian blur at 13. I set the Light Angle to 170 degrees. Here is the before image: Here's how the effect looks with less blur:
  18. I shot this young Eagle catching fish a couple of weeks ago.
  19. Playing around with some blurred white text on a texture.
  20. Thanks Lynx, Red and Pixey. For anyone interested, I made the Extrude animation in a gimp plugin called G'mic. the filter I used is called "3D Extrude (animated)", it can be found under Sequences>3d Extrusion [animated]. It works well with text or a 2d object. I exported to psd with all frames and imported into PDN because it has a better gif generator than gimp. That's also where I made used this plugin. Unfortunately this plugin won't work in Paint.NET. They do have an On-Line version you can use however. Website: http://gmic.eu/ G'mic Online: https://gmicol.greyc.fr/ Here is the interface:
  21. Thanks Red. Here is a combination of two of your plugins. In this case I used Tone Gradient Angle to make the reflection map using clouds as source. I then overlayed the reflection map when exporting GIF, as apposed to applying Tone Gradient Angle to each frame like I did in the previous animation.
