Few days ago I got a new pc, windows 8 unfortunately. I had windows 7.
I used to use paint.net all the time on windows 7. even had it on an external drive and it worked just fine on other computers.
I tried to use it today and it asked to repair and i said yes. it did something then blinked the cmd window on and off once real fast but didnt repair.
i tried to download and install a new version and (besides not asking me for an install location) did everything, but the program is nowhere to be found. not in either of the program files folders or anywhere for that matter. I NEED paint.net for my projects. im not shelling out 80 bucks for photoshop. photoshop is bloody potato.
