Hi there, as a total newbie let me first say "Hello" from Switzerland. The issue related by Dachimotsu seems to occur after having exceeded a certain amunt of layers, in my experience 10 or so. My workaround has been: merge some layers, save the project, reopen it and the line tool would work again.
