  1. You could also try this plugin: EdgeShaderMJW (when installed, it appears under Effects-->Advanced) Make sure your lines are thick enough, at least 10px, in white. Set your primary color to a color of your choosing, then play with the sliders. Finish it off with AA's Assistant.
  2. Happy New Year @Rickhum and....No Worries! 😊 Love your house...looks comfortable and inviting.
  3. Wonderful piece @Pixey! Makes a fine addition to your collection. πŸ˜‰
  4. @Pixey what happened to the other cookie entries?
  5. WOW! This will be an exciting year! I look forward to these changes. 😊 Thank you, Rick, for PDN.
  6. That's a pretty neat effect @Sakana Oji! See what I mean by 'discoveries'? 😁
  7. First, you could make the outline thicker, apply AA's Assistant, then the bevel. When using the bevel, play with the colors, the strength, and the depth. Honestly, there isn't much more I can tell you. Half the fun of PDN is making your own discoveries!
  8. Beautiful Christmas card, Lydia! The download is so crisp. Have a Merry Christmas. πŸŽ…
  9. @Sakana Oji , your lead looks fine to me. Maybe apply a very small bevel? Here another tutorial with some leading techniques: Create Opalescent Stained Glass
  10. Thank you @Pixey! πŸŽ… I'm working on some more 'sewing' stuff. Hope to have it finished soon.
  11. Merry Christmas dear @Seerose! May Santa bring you many presents! πŸŽ…
  12. Here's my annual Christmas wallpaper. This year's theme is called "A Homespun Christmas", incorporating some of my 'sewing' techniques. Please enjoy. The image is clickable for a full-size download. Merry Christmas everyone!
  13. The theme this week is – "What Freedom Means To You " Chosen by ( @Maximilian SOTW #195 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like β€˜What Freedom Means To You ’. Examples can be viewed here and here. This is a very broad topic, as freedom can be a lot of different things to different people so, nothing you do would be wrong. I think it should come from the heart. The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EST) on Saturday, Jan 5th, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  14. Congrats to all the winners! All the oranges looked incredible, I could smell them. Great work everyone! Thank you @Pixey for hosting!
  15. Congratulations to the winners! 1st Place: is @Maximilian with 7 votes 2nd Place: is @lynxster4 and @Pixey with 5 votes each 3rd Place: is @Seerose and @welshblue with 4 votes each Great entries from everyone! This was a slightly more difficult theme this week, as whole sceneries are hard to render on a small canvas...so kudos to everyone!
  16. Thanks, @Rickhum! Would love to see your results.
