  1. Thank you @ReMake for reviving this tutorial. You are the 'graveyard' master! Here's my 'Big Bang'.
  2. My photograph of the recent Supermoon of 2/19/19 and the companion 'Blue Spirit Orb' that appeared in the picture.
  3. The theme this week is – "The Moon as Seen from the Earth " Chosen by ( @Maximilian SOTW #198 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘The Moon as Seen from the Earth’. Examples can be viewed here. The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EST) on Saturday, Mar 9th, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  4. Thanks, again, @ReMake! You are remarkable.
  5. Congratulations to the winners! 1st Place: is @Maximilian with 6 votes 2nd Place: is @welshblue and @Pixey with 4 votes each 3rd Place: is @welshblue, @lynxster4 and @Maximilian with 3 votes each Great entries from everyone! A very tight comp, well done!
  6. Super @Woodsy! It would be great to do this on a few of the subjects; i.e. get them all together. I think this should be pinned so finding it would be a breeze @Ego Eram Reputo
  7. @null54 I just updated to the latest version, now I can't use the plugin at all. All other plugins work. I'm getting an "Access Denied" message and when I click "OK", PDN crashes. Here is the crash log: Working fine in previous version. No files are 'blocked'. I can't figure it out. EDIT: I went in and changed the permissions on the folder and the Gmic dll file. Now it works. I've never had to do that before. Oh well, there's always some kind of 'glitch' sooner or later.
  8. I'm saying no paper cups. It's a single piece of candy with or without decorations.
  9. The Poll is now open for ‘Mythological Animals'. It will be closed on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 - 2 pm EST and 7 pm UK time. World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  10. This bon-bon candy isn't as easy as I thought! 💥
  11. Thank you @Pixey @welshblue and @Seerose He's a cutie, for sure! I made the eyes with a G'MIC filter. It was so easy. Looks like real gems.
  12. @MJW they can have simple decorations like sprinkles or thin lines of drizzled icing. Check out the link in Pixey's post.
  13. @doughty I'm going to say no. We want to see your pretty decorations on the outside.
  14. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!! Here's a little kitty brooch.
  15. Clarified @toe_head2001, my intention was a single bon-bon.
  16. Here's my go at it: Many possibilities with some simple tweaks. Love it! Everyone's 'orbs' are just beautiful!
  17. Apologies to everyone! 🙄 I should have posted a link to the plugin. Thank you @AndrewDavid for posting. Thank you for the compliment on the line work @doughty! I did not use Blur Blend on Kimba, though. Wanted to try something different on Ariel and was pleasantly surprised. (rep tomorrow)
  18. Thank you @ReMake The orb, does indeed, look very cool. Have to give it a go!
  19. Thanks, @welshblue Yes, I'm getting better...slowly, but surely! I love playing with PDN. It's a great stress-reliever.
  20. Thank you @Maximilian and @Seerose I'm glad you like her. Thank you @Pixey Yes, that plugin is very interesting...worth trying out. Oh, for sure! But I was a young girl and found Kimba 'adorable'. Thank you for the compliment!
  21. Posting the bigger version here. When I resized it for the comp entry, it lost a lot of clarity and detail. I tried a new technique on the 'outline' lines. Many thanks to @TrevorOutlaw for his Blur Blend plugin. I thought it came out nice. Please enjoy!
