This one gives a very pretty result, also @Reptillian. Used the same image and applied your non-convolution edge filter. I chose 'grain extract' for my blending mode. Very nice! -

Is it magical? 😮 -
I definitely agree @ReMake! I would love to see you release this officially after the testing period and any needed tweaks. 😀 Just a quick go at it. The colors 'pop' wonderfully when I put a black layer underneath and set the blending mode on the zebras to 'Glow'.

Ditto, that! Now, go and rest... -
The Plugin Browser dll goes into your Effects folder as stated by Eli. Restart paint.net and it will appear directly under the Effects tab. It is not in a Submenu. Hope this helps.

The theme this week is – "Pertaining to a Lumberjack " Chosen by ( @BoltBait SOTW #200 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature that contains elements ‘Pertaining to a Lumberjack ’. This is a pretty wide-open contest. Anything that reminds you of a lumberjack will be accepted. Examples can be viewed here. The deadline for entries is 6:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EST) on Saturday, April 20th, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.

@Reptillian Hi. I'd like to know more about how this plugin works. The plugin states that you need at least 2 images in the folder to work. Is there a maximum amount? I had a red balloon in my images folder and it didn't use it at all. How does it use the images and know how many of each image to use? Why does it not use an image? Is it the order of images in your file? If you could explain this to me, I'd appreciate it. In layman's terms, please. Don't get too 'mathy' on me. -

Wow. The plugin is easy to use, but your outcome 100% depends on the images you use in the folder. You could sit and play for hours on the same image, swapping images in and out of the folder. I couldn't get jpg's to work. It only worked when I used png's. Thanks @Reptillian! EDIT: I created a folder in my 'Downloads' folder and just swapped png's in and out. I actually used balloons in the 2nd pic and some slightly textured circles in the first one. They look almost like needlepoint! -
Wonderful belt @welshblue! Stitching is perfect and the buckle is so detailed. Great job! Nice shading, too.
