  1. I am also distressed to hear this Max. I wish your mother a full and speedy recovery and hope you get your other problems ironed out. sending
  2. Love the Iced Apples @Pixey! I can feel the chill coming off them. Beautiful work! ๐Ÿ˜ธ
  3. Hi @hobrakemo and welcome to the forum. A chevron shape is built into PDN. Simply pick your gold color, select the 'Shapes' Tool, select 'Draw Filled Shape' move over to your canvas and draw it. Hope this helps.
  4. The theme this week is โ€“ "Needlework " Chosen by ( @MJW SOTW #203 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like โ€˜Needlework โ€™. Examples can be viewed here. Any type of image will be acceptable (within forum rules) as long as it looks like needlepoint, embroidery, etc... The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EDT) on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Donโ€™t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Donโ€™t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  5. Congratulations to the winners! 1st Place: is @MJW with 9 votes 2nd Place: is @Pixey with 6 votes 3rd Place: is @welshblue with 4 votes Great entries from everyone! ๐Ÿ’
  6. Oh, please do try @MJW! I think @Red ochre's suggestions would be a wonderful addition to the plugin. I use the modified Edgeshader a lot...and I mean a lot! It is one of my most useful plugins. ๐Ÿ˜ธ
  7. Love that @welshblue! It looks plasti-licious! ๐Ÿ˜† It looks like lemon candy...I can taste it now...
  8. Thank you @JulioCoolio and @Seerose for your lovely comments! Glad you like the piece!
  9. Both, for sure!! Though Jackie DeShannon's piece is the one I remember most. Always playing on the kitchen radio on a Saturday afternoon...๐Ÿคค
  10. @JulioCoolio, both are great pieces but I love the texturing on the 2nd one. What texture tutorial did you use?
  11. Thank you @Pixey and @barbieq25 for the reps and lovely comments! I felt a kind of inspiration driving this one. Thanks, also, to @Woodsy, @ReMake, @LionsDragon, @doughty and @welshblue for the reps. You guys are the bestest!! ๐Ÿ˜ธ
  12. Great job @LionsDragon! I have that CD! Haven't listened to it in a while...have to dig it out. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  13. What We Need...What The World Needs This came about when I was trying to apply my 'Plasticized Text' technique to a shape. I used one of my generic flower shapes and after much 'tweaking' it kind of morphed into this: The background is my own creation through many PDN plugins. I hope you enjoy 'what we need...'
  14. Thank you @ReMake for restoring this tutorial! @yellowman has some really great tuts on this forum. Thanks, @Woodsy for the pdf!
  15. That is crazy gorgeous @Pixey! So shimmery and marbled. Great work!
  16. The Poll is now open for โ€˜A Desert Scene'. It will be closed on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 โ€“ 7:00 pm (UK time) and 2:00 pm (EDT). World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  17. Hi @LITMirror22. The Outline Object plugin is only used on the 'stripes' layer. This gives you the thin pink stripes on either side of the dark red ones. It is not meant to be used on the text layer. You should not even have a text layer yet. After you flatten the two layers to get get your stripes background, then you are using Text Mask as shown in the above tutorial instructions. If you need further help, please ask.
  18. You got that right! Things, overall, are pretty good. I can't complain. ๐Ÿ˜ธ
  19. That's a stunner for sure @JulioCoolio! Lovely colors!
  20. Thank you @LionsDragon for the reps! I've missed you on here. Hope all is going well.
  21. Thank you @ReMake for the explanation and thank you @Ego Eram Reputo for removing them! (The creepy Mod strikes again...no I didn't!)
  22. It still looks good, but a more 'rounded' font works better. I like the little 'ridges' you have going on. Great result, welshy! How do you get rid of spoiler if you accidently hit it??? (A: Wait a while, a creepy Mod will sneak in and do it for you)
