  1. Yes, paint.net needs to be closed! Now, we all feel dumb. (for future reference...close PDN before installing plugins!) Glad you figured that out. I was getting stressed... ðŸĪŠ
  2. Don't use the installer.exe....download the zip file; attachment #2.
  3. Then I am stumped. Why don't you download the .zip version and install manually. Everything would go under your 'Effects' folder
  4. Are there any folders under it? If not, create the Palettes folder by New Folder and renaming it to Palettes.
  5. Create the 'paint.net App Files' folder under Documents. Then create the 'Palettes' folder under that.
  6. @GlitzGoing See if you have these folders created under Documents. I have both folders, but I am using the Classic version.
  7. See this topic here about installing palettes. This may answer your question. Are you using MS Store version or free Classic version?
  8. Yes, you do @GlitzGoing. If you hover over where @ReMake showed you, the tool tip 'Manage Color Palettes' appears. Then click the Down arrow and select 'Open Palettes Folder'. I hope this helps.
  9. Alright...back to ShapeMaker and Disney. Been wanting to do some more Disney characters. Flower! Hope you enjoy it!
  10. Lovely image @TrevorOutlaw! Great 'metal' work and the choice of blues. A home run! ðŸ’Ĩ
  11. The Poll is now open for ‘Traditional Asian-Style Art'. It will be closed on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 – 7:00 pm (UK time) and 2:00 pm (EDT). World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  12. Beautiful, colorful works as usual @Seerose! I'd probably trip-out playing with those pool sticks!
  13. Thanks to @Seerose, @Pixey and @welshblue for the reps and kind comments! Love ya guys! I stopped for now. (I had to go back to work...🙁) EDIT: @welshblue, this proves shapes can work with this method, but they need to be chosen carefully.
  14. Congrats @welshblue, @MJW and @Pixey! All your radios were superb! To me, it would have been hard to pick a winner. Thanks to @Pixey for the hosting!
  15. I'm sorry...I can't stop this. I've been experimenting since Remake posted his tutorial. Just a few more... My Nick-Namesake The New Penguins Logo Pretty in Pink An Early Christmas Thanks for putting up with my current addiction...ðŸĪŠ
  16. Thank you @LionsDragon, @Woodsy and @ReMake! I'm still at it...shaped gradient and Remake's tutorial are addictive......ðŸĨī
  17. Love the second one @toroidal232. It has a 'jewel-escent' look to it. (I just made that word up 😆)
  18. Have literally, happily wasted a day playing with 'Variations with Shaped Gradient' by @ReMake Flower Power to you all! 😆 (made these with some of my flower shapes) Hope you enjoy them and TG I was on vacation! I wouldn't call this a productive 'work' day, but it was a very productive 'art' day!
  19. @welshblue I used your rose template and followed some of your directions. I used edge expander, AA's and blur blend to finish. I followed directions exactly, also, and the rose did not turn out like yours. Always fun experimenting! This tutorial leaves so many possibilities to explore! 😁 Nice outcome @HyReZ!
  20. I don't know what you envisioned, but it looks great to me! Beautiful roses!
  21. The texture looks great @welshblue! Concerning the lines; on the 'outline layer' have you tried selecting the outside of the object, inverting, and using @TrevorOutlaw's BlurBlend? I love that plugin. It might do the trick!
  22. Looks barren and forbidding @JulioCoolio ðŸ˜Ū Good work! (rep when I'm reloaded)
  23. Thank you so much @JulioCoolio for your very kind words! I'm always looking for new ways to make stained glass!
