  1. I hear ya @welshblue. Did it always work this way? I seem to remember it differently. Oh well, your suggestion works, so I'll use it. Thanks!
  2. Congrats @welshblue, @Pixey and @MJW! I thought all the bottles looked fantastic. Thank you for the hosting @Pixey ๐Ÿ’
  3. Hi @MadJik! I see you haven't been on in awhile and I'm hoping you'll check in soon. I'm seeing a small problem with your Kaleidoscope plugin. It no longer cuts out the background when that option is selected. See below. Possible fix? Thanks!
  4. I'll confirm that it works fine with PDN 4.2. Maybe download it again @Roger the Dodger
  5. That's out-of-this-worldly @TrevorOutlaw Mysterious with a bit of fear thrown in. Don't think I'd want to be that guy...a long hallway with a door at the end....๐Ÿ˜จ Great job! The coloring makes it.
  6. How spot-on you are! I didn't realize my neatness OCD showed in my artwork! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Thank you so much Rickhum for the very kind words and reps on various pieces. Steal away... Thank you BBQ for the nice comment and rep! It is always appreciated!
  7. WOW! @toroidal232 I had no idea you were making all your kaleidoscopes from scratch! That must be what gives them their 'unique' look. Great video and insight! I think you should post the video again with some simple written instructions (i.e. plug-ins used only...no settings) in the Creations tutorial section. That way, if any one wants to try this method they won't be clogging up your gallery. I def want to try this. If I have time today, I'll have a go at it. Thanks for the video! ๐Ÿ˜€
  8. Your new Orb is really cool-looking @TrevorOutlaw! The metal is really outstanding and there's a sense of 'flow' about it.
  9. Another beauty! Reminds me a bit of The Starry Night by Van Gogh. Nicely done! Too bad about your internet connection. Your works are very pleasing to the eye. (meaning more, more!)
  10. That's so beautiful @Rickhum! Love the coloring. It's so rich and saturated. Fur Blur is nicely done. Love the look on the foreground dingo's face! Great work!
  11. The theme this week is โ€“ "Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing " Chosen by ( @lynxster4 SOTW #205 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to represent โ€˜The Apollo 11 Moon Landing โ€™. Examples can be viewed here. A wide variety of things will be accepted (within topic, of course). Please, everyone participate. This is an achievement for mankind. I remember watching this as a child. The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EDT) on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Donโ€™t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Donโ€™t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  12. Congratulations to the winners! 1st Place: is @lynxster4 with 9 votes 2nd Place: is @welshblue with 7 votes 3rd Place: is @Pixey with 4 votes Great entries from everyone! ๐Ÿ’ฅ I'll be with you shortly with a new theme!
  13. Amazing how one emoji can elicit such a response! Relax guys, you're all good with me. Just having a little fun. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  14. @Red ochre I'm so pleased to see you on here again! You've been sorely missed. Hope all is well with you and you continue to 'pop' in! @MJW Hopefully some of Red's suggestions will pan out and I appreciate the time you put into these plugins.
  15. I don't want to derail this topic, but how can you have 'hidden layers', that don't show up in the Layers window? You make layers and somehow 'hide' them? Just asking out of curiosity...this is baffling to me. ๐Ÿค”
  16. Welcome @pepeh! If you are having trouble identifying the font, you can use this website: https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ It has helped me a lot when I didn't know the fonts name. Just follow the directions.
  17. Hi @MJW! Is it possible to do this? I use EdgeShader so much, I've often wished I could offset the middle color a bit. This is just a simple example, but it would help soooo much if it's possible. Thanks!
  18. I can confirm it works without all layers ticked. EER will have to confirm his issue. Thanks @toe_head2001!
  19. I just tested this @toe_head2001. I don't have any problems with Rick's version, that I could see. I used a pdn file from the example folder. However, your version does not work unless all the layers are ticked. I can build a working gif with the pdn file with some layers turned 'off' in Rick's version. Notice nine (9) layers are unchecked. The gif builds just fine, leaving the layers 'as is'. With yours, the unchecked layers get skipped over. The gif still 'builds', but it isn't animated. I had to 'check' all the layers to get the gif to build correctly. If you have a lot of layers, it would be a pain to tick them all. Just letting you know.... EDIT: And I honestly don't know what is going on with EER's example. I can't find a hidden layer. If all of them are checked, it still doesn't build.
  20. *SQUEE!* Thanks welshy! I love Edgeshader, you can do a lot with it. ๐Ÿ˜Š Thank you, dear Seerose! I always appreciate your comments! ๐Ÿ˜œ Thank you, Woodsy! I am so happy your granddaughter loved it. When I do my Disney characters, I'm always thinking about the joy I can bring to the little ones! ๐Ÿ˜ (you, too!) Thank you, thank you, thank you, TrevorOutlaw! Your Thumper comment made me laugh, cause he will be! And thanks to @Eli, @Apollo702 and @Pixey for the reps! and to you all!
  21. Very beautiful and colorful Kaleidoscopes @toroidal232!
  22. Very clever @TrevorOutlaw! Nice alternate way to make metalwork. I used @xod's Circular Text plugin, though. It's easier to use.
