  1. The Poll is now open for ‘Member’s Choice’. It will be closed on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 – 7:00 pm (UK time) and 2:00 pm (EDT). World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win! Lots of entries this week. Good job everyone!!
  2. A .dll will accept the 'plus' (+) sign. Look in your Effects folder and see how many you have. @MJW, @ReMake, @pyrochild and more have used a plus sign.
  3. WOW, those are amazing @Seerose! The colors just draw me in and in... @Xhin, you are also on a roll! I'll try this when I get home. Thank you!
  4. That's the problem. The dll file needs to be named 'Align+' so it doesn't overwrite the other one.
  5. Totally agree with HyReZ @Xhin!! These effects, though simple, can really change an image with some interesting looks! Please keep them coming! In no time, you can release your own plugin pack! Below image made entirely with Rectangular Inversion.
  6. And you are correct @xod. I have an older version of the plugin because it loads it directly under Effects, which is where I want it because I use it often.
  7. You're on a roll @Reptillian! Thank you for all!
  8. This is nice @xod, but it overwrites the one you wrote with @MJW, which I use all the time. The coding needs to reflect that you are calling it 'Align+'. Thanks!
  9. Nice plugin @Xhin! Your to-do list would be great. Right now, it seems the Quality slider just blurs the image a bit. Thank you for the plugin! Sand-Art anyone?
  10. No, no, it's not. Please keep adding variants when you think of them! It's like a 'one-stop' shop for making leather!
  11. Congrats to @MJW and @Pixey!! 💐 💐 All the sunglasses were wonderful. Great job to everyone!! @welshblue...thank you for the lovely comment...I had fun making those! Thank you @Pixey for the hosting!
  12. Really like 'Death's Flower'...just perfect! 'Emergence' is good, also...but I prefer the second one. Great job!
  13. Thank you @Xhin for the plugin! I got some very interesting coloring while playing with it. And it's pretty 'smooth', too...no jagged edges on the color changes.
  14. Love all of them! You both did a fantastic job! Take a bow....🥂
  15. Thanks for the update @Rick Brewster! Question about bundling @null54's DDS plugin. I notice I now have a folder under 'paint.net' labelled 'Bundled' in which resides the (3) files for DDS plugin. I still have them in the 'FileTypes' folder. Can I delete these or leave them be? Also, when null54 does an update to the plugin do we just replace the ones in the 'Bundled' folder? Thanks for all you do!
  16. WOW! Your 'roomscapes' are getting better and better @LionsDragon! Would love to see more...
  17. Beautiful kaleidoscope images @Seerose! You can easily get hooked on those plugins!
  18. I see that now. I also prefer it under the Effects menu for super easy access! Must have downloaded mine before xod changed it.
  19. Oh, you're probably right @ReMake...I must have changed mine. Pardon me.
  20. @Cointape, xod's Align plugin is found in the Effects menu, not Effects > Object. Follow the above instructions and copy the dll file into the Effects folder. @xod...you should re-word post 1 to reflect where the plugin installs.
  21. The theme this week is – "Member's Choice" Chosen by ( @lynxster4 SOTW #207 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘Whatever You Want!’. No examples are available. Please see my post here. The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EDT) on Saturday, September 14th, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  22. Been doing some thinking on this comp. 🤨 In order to encourage more participation, I'm going to do a few 'Member's Choice' rounds per year. You can submit whatever you want as long it falls within comp rules. Maybe more people will enter. Let's give it a try!
