  3. Welcome to the forum @mariah! There are lots of knowledgeable people here who can answer your questions; just ask!
  4. Agree with Welshy @Maggie. Beautiful work and I love the texture of the piece. Perfect to use as your sig. I say 'go for it'.
  5. Very nice images @Icegodes! You have some interesting textures going on.
  6. Another lovely dancer @TrevorOutlaw! The blues and browns go together so well!
  7. The theme this week is – "In Memory of Woodsy" Chosen by ( @welshblue SOTW #210 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘Wood Grain’. **A note about Woodsy: In case you're not familiar with Woodsy's work, he made fantastic "Old West' style buildings that you have to see to believe. Anyone interested can view his gallery here. Examples can be viewed here. You can design or create anything you wish, abstract or an object, as long as it has a wood grain look. The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EDT) on Saturday, November 9th, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.

  9. Oh, I really love that @TrevorOutlaw!! The shades of cream and brown really compliment the image! Wonderful job!
  10. Wonderful images @Seerose! I like #2 for the boldness of the colors and the last one as @welshblue says, for the stitch effect. Great job! 😁
  11. Hi @Prorok What you need to do is this: 1. Open your 256x256 image in paint.net 2. Select all and copy it to the Clipboard. EDIT-->Select All (Ctrl+A), EDIT-->Copy (Ctrl+C) 3. Open a new layer at whatever size you need (say 2048x2048), EFFECTS-->FILL-->FROM CLIPBOARD (this plugin is found in BoltBait's pack from here.) 4. Apply the proper setting from the drop-down menu (Tiling - No Mirroring) and you are done. Hope this helps!
  12. Thank you @dipstick for the rep and @Seerose for the rep and beautiful comment! Thank you @welshblue, you always make me smile!
  13. Interesting plugin @bluebuiy. But you don't tell us where to find the plugin. (BTW everyone, it's in the 'Selection' menu and is called 'Rect Corner Fade'). I used two images of different sizes and boy, did I have to do a lot of fiddling to get it to work properly. This is really made for images of the same size. There are no other adjustments in the plugin but you can use the Eraser tool, tolerance set to 0%, to make any final adjustments. Thank you for the plugin.
  14. Congrats to all the winners! All the belt buckles look great. Good job from everyone! Thank you for the hosting @Pixey. 🍬
  15. Lovely picture @Pixey! It looks so real. Gotta love MJW's plugins. You got this one 'just right'! 😁

  17. 😪 I will miss Woodsy very much. He and I conversed now and then. He will be greatly missed. His artwork was beautiful and the contributions to the forum are immeasurable. May you rest in Peace, Dave.
  18. I just downloaded it @Vagabondi and the file is just fine. You're getting a false positive. None of the plugin files on this site are 'infected'. Just don't download any PDN plugins from any other site but this one. And BTW...welcome to the forum!
  19. Thank you @Pixey! That's immediately what I thought...he looks like a plastic blow-up toy! I should have put an inflator on him! Thank you @ReMake and @HyReZ for the rep points!
  20. Can't do Flower and Thumper without Bambi! 😁 Without further ado...I give you Bambi... I did Bambi with the G'mic 2D effect that @dipstick reminded me was available. (with all the effects in g'mic, a person can lose their mind! ) Thank you dip! Here is the trio: Hope you've enjoyed my trip down Disney Lane!
