  1. That is very frigid-looking @Vagabondi! Wonderful job! Curtains, icicles...look very dainty and delicate against the starkness of the moon! Out of reps (I'm always out of reps). Catch you later...
  2. Love 'Lily Pad Dancer' @HyReZ Beautiful work. I'm out of reps, too. Revisit tomorrow...
  3. The theme this week is – "Santa Claus! " Chosen by ( @Seerose SOTW #212 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘Santa Claus’. Examples can be viewed here. @Seerose specified 'Santa only'. You can throw in a few adornments like presents, nice background, etc... The focus should be on Santa! The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (EDT) on Saturday, December 21st, 2019. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  4. Haha...it is Seerose! She won the toss...waiting to hear from her.
  5. Love that lettering @welshblue How about a few steps to detail what you achieved? Your new avatar and sig are wonderful.
  6. Thank you @Vagabondi for the rep!
  7. 8. Love both of them @Vagabondi, especially 'Coffee Rose'! Great outcomes! 😀
  9. @Vagabondi Everyone of your new images elicited oohs and aahs from me! 😄 Each image has its own 'quirkiness'! Thank you for 'Gothic Parrot', it is soooo cute! I also like 'The Runaway', excellent job! I have a long-running love of horses. Your ideas have so much originality! Great job!
  10. Thank you so much @AspiringArtist! I'm glad my tutorials and others are helpful...that's why we write them! And remember...we were all novices once. I look back on my old stuff and laugh now. 😆
  11. @msh Made these real quick: Your plugin first, then a couple of plugins to finish it off. Thank you!
  12. @Pixey When you set up the Poll, only set the Poll to close at your specified date and time. On the Content Tab, there is locking info on the right-hand side....don't use that. Use the Poll Tab locking info.
  13. Thanks @msh! I can already think of a couple of uses I'd like to try.
  14. Thanks @Icegodes I'll need the weekend to try this out! 😁
  15. FYI...it's called an ornament cap. (I'm so full of obscure information.) 😆
  16. Congrats @welshblue, @welshblue, @welshblue and @Pixey! 🤣 All the notepads were fantastic. Great job everyone!
  17. Wonderful additions to your gallery @Vagabondi! I especially love the seascapes; great job! With 'The Sentinel' on watch, we have nothing to worry about! I'm also drawn to 'Prisoners'; great job on the clock face.
  18. The Poll is now open for ‘Original Graffiti’. It will be closed on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 – 7:00 pm (UK time) and 2:00 pm (EDT). World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  19. @TrevorOutlaw Icing (whipped cream) update. I make a shape in ShapeMaker. I do an outline at 2px. Then I use the outline to 'color' each piece on it's own layer. I then use Edge Expander at 4px and a couple of AA'S Assistants to hide and smooth the transparent spaces between the pieces. I then use EdgeShader with specific colors chosen for Primary and Secondary color for each piece. I fiddle with that till I like what I see. Use a touch of Splinter and BlurBlend and I'm done! So, the icing also couldn't be made without @MJW's two excellent plugins and Splinter. EdgeShader gives it the 'right' amount of 'pop' (3D-ness?) 😄
  20. Mind...'blown' or he's an airhead. Another great work @TrevorOutlaw!
  21. @TrevorOutlaw She looks like she knows what she wants and in a hurry to get it! I agree with @Pixey. Pixel Stretching and Dispersion Effect images you have down pat. 😉
