  1. One more example; some 'lava' text. 'Lava' texture made by me in PDN. I could play with this all day...
  2. This needs pinned...it is very 'Photoshop-ey'! Can't wait to use it. Thank you to everyone involved! 😁 EDIT: added image
  3. I'm taking a wild guess and thinking it is very 'Photoshop-ey'...like the Layer Style window with various options? 😁
  4. The theme this week is – "Friendship " Chosen by ( @Maximilian SOTW #215 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to convey ‘Friendship’. Examples can be viewed here. The deadline for entries is 2:00 pm (EST) 7:00 pm (UK time) on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  5. Alas...no. When using a canvas that small, I usually make my image at that size. Re-sizing down to 200x500 loses at lot of detail. I'm glad you like it, though! 😀
  6. Congratulations to the winners! 1st Place: is @Maximilian with 7 votes 2nd Place: is @welshblue, @barbieq25 and @Maximilian with 6 votes each 3rd Place: is @Vagabondi and @Seerose with 5 votes each Great entries from everyone, each one unique! Thank you so much for participating!
  7. All of them very imaginative @Vagabondi! Love 'Strange Brew' and 'Lizzie'. Great works! (I'll take a little 'Cream' in my Strange Brew.) 😆
  8. Some very beautiful abstracts you have there @Icegodes! The Starry Chain series is especially nice. Valentine's Day is coming up...try Red and a Light Pink for your Infinity sketch.
  9. @HyReZ, @Ego Eram Reputo and @welshblue...all beautiful examples of achieving 'a golden look' with different plugins. And each one has it's own unique look!
  10. That's very good @LionsDragon! I just love the stonework. He looks like he's having a good ol' time. 😁
  11. Hi @null54. I can't get Gmic to work in new PDN version 4.2.9. It crashes PDN immediately. I'm using Gmic version 2.8.3. Everything else works fine. I ran the PDNRepair.exe and it didn't fix it. Side note: On my computer at work, I'm still running the alpha version of 4.2.9 (build 7326) and Gmic version 2.8.3. Gmic works fine. Here's the crash log: Maybe you could look into it. Thank you!
  12. The Poll is now open for ‘Member's Choice’. It will be closed on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 – 2:00 pm (EST) and 7:00 pm (UK time). World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  13. Sorry, I was so intent on looking at the kitty "sittin' so pretty", I missed it! 😦 😀
  14. The correct amount of noise works great with Red's Furblur plugin!
  15. Darn straight! All of these are soooo precious! I see my kitty stained glass pic in "Egypt' (where the cat was worshipped) and you did a great job on the moon in 'Sister Moon'! All the images sing to me. Great job!
  16. Nag # 'I lost count'.... Do it!....
  17. Very clever @TrevorOutlaw! How about a storybook?
  18. I say no, if I understand your post correctly, @TrevorOutlaw. If you open ShapeMaker on a transparent layer, you get a transparent layer, with nothing to trace. If you copy an object to the clipboard first, then open a transparent layer (in a new file) your options are PDN layer or Clipboard. PDN layer option gives you a transparent blank layer ( with nothing to trace from) and Clipboard gives you your copied object. That's it. After you trace your mask and save as a .dhp file and export it as an .xmal file, and put it in the Shapes folder, then you'll have to open your background image, open the Shapes Tool and 'draw' your shape to the proper size for your project. Then you can use it as a mask. You are asking for 3 different scenarios to be possible at once. If it's any different, @toe_head2001 will tell you.
  19. Congrats to the winners! 💐 All the rocks are amazing. Great job everyone! 🤩
  20. Wonderful image @TrevorOutlaw! My thoughts exactly! Well done!
  21. WOW! Blown away , yet again! 🤯 These images are fantastic @Vagabondi! I am ever-amazed at how you put objects together to create such beauty. Just love 'The Fairy Tail' and 'The King', but all are super. Imaginative and beautiful works!
  22. Thank you @Vagabondi for the rep on my flamingos, parrot and rose pieces!
